We loved the charming chalets and the stunning view of the Arenal Volcano. the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. the beautiful garden was brimming with birds, creating a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect introduction to our 17-day tour of Costa Rica.

The owners and workers were very friendly. The grounds are immaculate and well cared for, with their family vegetable garden. There were even sloths on their property! It was very nice to have a pool there. A few good choices for breakfast.

There was not one thing to dislike about this place!

Mind-blowing stay! Super friendly staff who went above and beyond to help us. Jaw-droppingly beautiful grounds with toucans and other birds. Excellent breakfast. Clean rooms. Awesome pool. Free wi-fi. Convenient car park. Flat-screen TV. Delicious restaurant.

The staff are friendly and attentive, providing a warm welcome. The cabins are modern, clean, and quiet, with a majestic view of a famous volcano. The location is peaceful, yet conveniently close to restaurants and attractions. The breakfast offers a good variety and the birdwatching experience is amazing. It's a great place to spend the last night in Costa Rica.

The location of the hotel was great, with plenty of hot spring waters nearby. We loved being able to relax and unwind in the natural pools. the hotel was well organized, making our stay hassle-free.

One major downside of our stay was the lack of privacy in the new bungalows. They were situated too close together, leaving us with little to no privacy.

Had an amazing time surrounded by stunning gardens and beautiful wildlife. the variety of birds was incredible, making us feel like we were in a fantasy resort. the cottages were cozy and better than a regular hotel. the huge and delicious breakfasts were a great way to start the day. the staff and owners were friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet and peaceful.

The rooms could use a little more furnishing, as there were only beds and two plastic cups. It was a bit challenging with kids as we needed a place to eat in the room.

The lush grounds at Faro Arenal were mesmerizing, filled with colorful flowers and beautiful trees. Waking up to the stunning views of the volcano was truly unforgettable. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the pancakes were simply delicious. Despite some minor inconveniences like a lacking room kettle and a not-so-great shower, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay comfortable. The location was ideal, just a short drive away from the town and its attractions. I had a wonderful time at Faro Arenal and would definitely recommend it to others.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful forest gardens surrounding the hotel. the 24-hour security patrol made us feel safe, even when we made coffee early in the morning. the swimming pool was a great way to cool off, and we were delighted by the abundance of birdlife. Within just 30 minutes, we spotted toucans and parrots, adding to the magic of our stay. the filling breakfast and the opportunity to observe the birds from the restaurant was truly amazing.

Although our stay was enjoyable, there were a couple of downsides. the showers were a bit finicky, and we couldn't always count on hot water.

I had the most amazing stay at this lovely place called Faro Arenal! The hotel property was absolutely gorgeous, with lush gardens filled with colorful birds flying around. Yorleny, the owner, welcomed me like family and made sure I had everything I needed. She even informed me when toucans were on the property! The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect for exploring the area and there were plenty of activities to do. I also enjoyed the swimming pool and the beautiful surroundings. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Costa Rica!

The cabinas were charming and surprisingly clean, considering we were at the base of a volcano. The breakfast offered delicious and fresh options. We stayed at Faro Arenal for 5 nights and absolutely loved it! The gardens were stunning, full of colorful birds and even an occasional anteater. The cottages were cozy and gave us a true home-away-from-home experience. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the staff and owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for exploring the area and the overall ambiance of the hotel was magical. We will definitely be back!
